About

Growing up in Cincinnati, Joanie has evolved as an artist throughout her life. Starting as a graphic designer (before computers!), she later moved to Indianapolis where she transitioned into making her own art in different media. After a welding class at the Indianapolis Art Center, steel sculpture has been Joanie’s passion for the past 20 years. Now in Noblesville, Joanie has worked with both of her sons over the years. A few years ago, her son Josh joined the business full-time. As a conservationist and botanist, he brings fresh ideas to experiment with and is an integral part of the business.

Joanie has exhibited in numerous local and state-wide galleries. She displays her work at local, regional, and national art shows, where she has drawn a loyal following. She uses nature as her inspiration to create contemporary yet whimsical elements that punctuate garden spaces and take on different moods depending on how the light changes across  seasons.
